Colombia Fabrica - Coffee Beans | Lime, Almond, Caramel, Chocolate | Espresso & Filter

This coffee originates from the Planadas and Gaitania area, in the south of the Tolima region, and is grown in a high altitude area that is often covered by clouds. It is from this special mystical cloud blanket that the name derives, since “Fábrica” comes from “ Cloud Factory ”.

The coffee is grown organically at high altitude and consists of old varieties such as bourbon, typica, caturra, castillo and colombia, a very rare variety today. This coffee is produced by two cooperatives of indigenous coffee growers, which consist of more than 240 families in the community of Nasa We'sx. Each family owns approximately 2 to 4 hectares. These are protected areas with more than 6,000 coffee plants per hectare.

We roast this coffee as omni-roast, so it can be used for both espresso and filter.

Taste description: fruity because of the lime and sweet because of the almond, caramel and milk chocolate.
