Ethiopia Suke Q - Coffee Beans | Sweet, Fruity | Espresso & Filter | 1800 - 2200m

Our first special and a keeper: An Ethiopian Natural grade 1 from the Suke Quto farm of Tesfaye Bekele. This farmer grew up between the coffee, went to study and worked as a conservationist for the government in the region where he came from. After major forest fires, he saw in coffee a way to help the region recover. He handed out coffee plants but he did not get people on board. That is why he started as a coffee farmer himself. In the meantime, 171 neighbouring 'coffee farmers' supply the coffee berries to his farm. He also has 200 hectares where he grows his own coffee. He uses the organic waste flows to optimally nourish the soil on his farm. The coffee is organically certified.

The coffee is Natural, but so well sorted that it is grade 1 certified.

We roast this coffee in such a way that you can make it as an espresso or as a filter.
